Rhonda Norman, CCSP, FCDI

Dr. Rhonda L. Norman is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Counseling at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has been a counselor educator for the past 20 years, and a career development practitioner for over 25 years. She maintains a career counseling and coaching practice in the Cincinnati area. Rhonda has experience in employee assistance/human resources, college counseling and community mentoring programs.
Dr. Norman completed her Masters and Doctoral degrees from the University of Cincinnati, in Counselor Education and Supervision. She completed a second Master’s degree from Xavier University in Human Resource Development/Training and Development. She has been teaching career counseling and development at Xavier University for the past 12 years. She also enjoys teaching the FCD curriculum in Cincinnati, Oho. Rhonda also is credentialed as an LPCC-S (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor – w/Supervision), and an LICDC (Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor).
Rhonda’s experience is broad, she has experience with curriculum and course development, intervening with community, industry and executives. Her passion is working and teaching from a strengths-based holistic framework. Career development practice is inherently strengths-based and holistic. Honoring this framework is integrated in all of her work with collaborators, students and clients.
