Join the NCDA Government Relations Committee for practical training tailored to State CDA leaders, board members, government relations chairs, and emerging advocates. Explore a three-tier capacity framework and strategies to move your chapter from awareness to action and impact.

Participants will learn to:

• Assess their chapter's government relations capacity and growth opportunities.
• Build or strengthen a Government Relations Committee suited to chapter size and readiness.
• Engage more members in advocacy.
• Build relationships with policymakers, workforce partners, and community stakeholders.
• Use toolkits, templates, policy trackers, and communication strategies to reduce barriers and accelerate progress.
• Create a realistic roadmap from Exploring to Developing and Advanced advocacy engagement.
