The target audience of this training curriculum is career practitioners with advanced skills, experience, and readiness to develop their understanding of clinical supervision strategies in relation to their current and prospective roles as supervisors and directors of career services.  It is ideal for those supervising Counselors, Career Counselors, Career Development Facilitators, and other practitioners in a variety of settings. Throughout the curriculum, the training participant will note the borrowing of counseling-related terminology as a general reference to the helping relationship and skills that are necessary for the delivery of professional supervision.  The work settings for career practitioners and professional supervisors include but are not limited to educational institutions, human resource companies, public/government institutions, and private independent businesses/practices.  Training must be conducted by a certified Career Practitioner Supervision Instructor.  Contact mpowell@ncda.org for more information.
