Garry always was looking ahead and finding new areas for counseling (computer applications, virtual counseling, etc). But I am thankful to him for being my mentor for the past 36 years. He not only encouraged me to to join him in writing my first book, he made me the senior author. That was his way of helping young counselors to develop professionally. We will all miss this very giving man.

Garry was a friend to counseling, career counseling, and to me personally. He was a gentle giant and I will miss him.
