Building on the success of our Southern California Fall Regional Conference in Moorpark, the California Career Development Association will hold another exciting one-day conference at Skyline College in San Bruno, CA. This conference, “CCDA's Northern California Fall Regional Conference – “Cultivating a Meaningful Career: Communicate, Advocate, Elevate,” will focus on professionals sharing cutting-edge tools and resources to help career counselors and coaches become more effective in working with their populations, particularly those at risk for long-term unemployment, including veterans, transitioning adults, and undocumented students after college graduation. Other topics covered at the conference will include how to develop successful partnership ventures and collaborative efforts with non-career service organizations and groups, and how to leverage technology to promote your career services.
All job seekers face their own challenges, and this conference will allow career development professionals to enhance their skills in assisting their clients to be competitive in a job market that is quickly evolving and constantly changing. In addition to the new knowledge to be gained, this is a perfect opportunity to network and develop new relationships as well as re-connect with old friends and colleagues. For career development professionals--counselors, coaches, and psychotherapists who deal with employment issues -- this is THE conference to attend!
