Great events on the 1st day of the Conference!

Don't miss these exciting events on the first day of the NCDA Career Development Conference!

Constituency Group Meetings
NCDA has been transitioning to a constituency model to better represent and serve the diverse needs of our members. At this year's conference, you will once again have the opportunity to meet with the trustee for the constituency group that most closely represents your work setting or interest affiliation. These groupings are designed to help you in your networking, to facilitate greater connection with colleagues who may share similar interests and work settings, and to enhance communication between the membership and the NCDA Board.

Constituency groups are easily identifiable by their different colored name badge holders. Be sure to make your travel arrangements so you can participate in these special meetings on Tuesday, June 30 from 8:00 – 9:45 am. 

• Blue: School Career Counselors and Specialists – Trustee Ray Davis, Ray Davis Consulting 
• Orange: Higher Education Career Counselors and Specialists – Trustee Paul Timmins, University of Minnesota
• Green: Private Practice, Business & Industry, and Agencies – Trustee Carol Vecchio, Centerpoint Institute for Life and Career Renewal
• Black: Counselor Educators and Researchers – Trustee Lourdes Rivera, Queens College, CUNY

First Timer's Session is for those attendees who have never been to an NCDA Global Career Development Conference. It is a great opportunity to meet others and learn how to maximize your conference experience.  Presented by seasoned conference veterans!

The Welcome Reception is a time to gather together with old friends and new on the conference opening night.  Light hors d'oeuvres will be served along with an available cash bar.  Entrance is free to conference attendees (please wear your badge as identification).  Guest tickets may be purchased.
