Colorado CDA Fall Conference

New and Emerging Trends in Career

Every year, CCDA holds an event which showcases our local talent. We encourage you to submit a proposal for a 75-minute conference session to be presented on October 24. We are seeking sessions that will address best practices around New and Emerging Trends in Career. Especially the following topics/populations:

  • Changing Demographics in the Workplace
  • Encore Careers
  • A New Orientation to International Employment
  • Increased Emphasis on Marketing
  • Diversity and Sensitivity
  • Counseling, Coaching, Advising & Career Development Facilitators, where is the field moving?
  • Intergenerational Communications
  • Ethics Related to Online Counseling

More details are available on the call for proposals here. What's in it for you? A $25 discount and, of course, building your own resume while sharing with colleagues.

Proposals are due September 19th, so don't delay!

 
Registration prices:
Early-bird pricing until Oct. 3 (midnight):
CCDA Members: $75
Student, New Professional, and Retiree CCDA members: $50
Non-Members: $130

Regular price after October 3:
CCDA Members: $95
Student, New Professional, and Retiree CCDA members: $55
Non-members: $150
 
How to register:
If you are a member, log in as a member at the top of this page using your existing username and password. Select the appropriate reservation type and complete the registration process. If you encounter any problems during the registration process or have specific dietary restrictions, please contact Rae Brendecke at rae.brendecke@arapahoe.edu

Non-members can join (click on "Membership Application" on the left of the page) to receive the member rate or sign up using the options on the left of the event page.
